Synopsis

Seasoned Detective L. Pretlow begins receiving unexplained materials tied to a man known only as LaPret. Told through fragmented audio, case files, and testimony, the evidence resists chronology and resolution, drawing the investigation into uneasy, familiar territory without ever explaining why. When forensic psychiatrist Dr. Elisia Blue is pulled into the audit, the case deepens—but clarity does not.

This leery psychological thriller offers no answers yet. Only the sense that once you step into a Leery Place, walking away is no longer an option.

He simply believes every open thread has an ending.

Dr. Elisia Blue

Forensic Psychiatrist

A highly experienced forensic psychiatrist brought in to audit what doesn’t immediately add up. Dr. Blue is skeptical by nature and training, favoring analysis over intuition and restraint over narrative. She challenges assumptions and questions patterns others accept too quickly. Composed and credible, she maintains professional distance—though at times, that distance feels carefully measured.

The Unseen Sender

No confirmed identity. No direct contact. Only materials that arrive without explanation—fragments, recordings, documents that resist context. The Unseen Sender never clarifies intent and never appears. Whether deliberate or incidental, the presence is consistent. The timing is not.
